Let’s look at lemon…
Lemons are well known to cleanse toxins from any part of the body and it is one of the most widely used and powerful essential oils. Indeed, Ayurvedic medicine uses both lemons and lemon essential oil to treat a significant number of health conditions.
A blend containing lemon essential oil gently massaged over the skin after your morning shower will do wonders to stimulate tissue fluid circulation. It will also boost the immune system as it is known to improve ‘phagocytosis’ – the elimination of microbes and toxins by the body’s white blood cells.
Please note that the correct use of essential oils requires significant knowledge and skill, so please always consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before mixing or using your own blends.
